Sebastien grew up in Tāmaki Makaurau, starting dance at a young age and learning from the tutors at the Devonport School of Dance while continuing his academic studies at Pinehurst School. He attended the New Zealand School of Dance’s Associates program from 2020, and joined the fulltime program in 2023. 

Since then, he has been exposed to the works and techniques of many artists within the dance sphere, and currently studies as a second-year student at the School of Dance. He enjoys and evaluates performances from the perspective of the next generation of young dancers, while applying the knowledge and experience he has gained from his tutors and mentors.
