Thom is a NZ Chinese descendent of those from the poll tax era. He is a theatre enthusiast with a background in acting and performing in screen arts (Disney’s Mulan, No Medicine for Regrets), stage (The Doctor Chronicles, Malam Malaysia) and producing (One Last Thing). He particularly enjoys the magic of musical theatre with favourites including Come From Away, Matilda and Les Misérables. He enjoys critiquing and reviewing a number of works especially recreation of old classics, and telling the tales of those who have been through healthcare and medical journeys.
