Wesley Hollis has been volunteering for Theatreview since 2022. He is a writer, editor, ex-librarian and comedian often based in Wellington, but currently (2023) living and studying in Nelson.

In 2017 he completed a Creative Writing Diploma through Whitireia Polytechnic. Since 2018 he has volunteered for Landing Press, a poetry publishing press based in Wellington, and has helped produce a number of anthologies as well as publishing his own poems. He assists with running many poetry events such as readings and book launches.

In 2022 Wesley graduated from the New Zealand Comedy School in Wellington, and has been performing ever since. He is a frequent watcher of comedy shows and they are his favourite thing to review.

In his spare time he loves assisting with shows, from comedy to theatre to cabaret, whether it be helping with door sales or assisting backstage. He’s a keen reader, and even keener writer, often journaling or writing poetry and short stories.
